Functional Overview

FreeCell is a brain-teasing version of solitaire, where unlike regular solitaire, all 52 cards are dealt face-up. The board becomes a giant puzzle where almost every game can be solved if you plan your moves right.

Clear the board by moving all the cards into the four foundation piles- sorting them by their suits (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades) in order, starting from Ace to King. Once every card is stacked in the correct foundation pile, you win!

Move cards between columns by stacking them down in order while alternating red and black colours. The four "free cells" at top left are used as slots to temporarily park a card out of the way, helping you dig deep into columns, unblock trapped cards, and shuffle things around until you win-- but you only get 4 free cells.

Click a card (it will show as selected), then click the destination (valid destinations are indicated). With keyboard, Space selects a card, navigate to destination with arrow keys and press Enter to commit.
