Checker

Checks all variables in a NetCDF file for NaN and/or Inf values.

Syntax

nes check -i <input_file.nc> [--nan] [--no-nan] [--inf] [--no-inf] [--avoid_first_hours N]

Arguments

• -i, --iile: Path to the NetCDF file to validate. (required)

• --nan: Enable NaN checking (default: enabled).

• --no-nan: Disable NaN checking.

• --inf: Enable Inf checking (default: enabled).

• --no-inf: Disable Inf checking.

• --avoid_first_hours N (int): Skips the first N hours.

• -l, --var_list: Optional list of variables to check; defaults to all variables.

Example

nes check -i output.nc

Disables Inf checking:

nes check -i output.nc --no-inf

Skips first two hours:

nes check -i output.nc --avoid_first_hours 2
