Reorder Longitudes
Convert a longitude axis from [0, 360] to [-180, 180], shifting the loaded data to match. This command supports serial execution only.
Usage
nes reorder -i emissions_360.nc -o emissions_180.nc
Arguments
Argument
Description
Required
-i, --input_file
Input NetCDF
Yes
-o, --output_file
Output NetCDF
Yes
The input must use a recognized [0, 360] longitude convention. Already converted or unrecognized longitudes are rejected. Use separate input and output paths to retain the original.
Verification
Read the output coordinates and confirm that the longitude convention and variable ordering match. See data operations for the Python equivalent.
