Dashboard Guide
The NAMO dashboard shows live detection, device status, floorplan data, and the settings available on the current device. This guide explains what each page is for and how to read the main dashboard.
Connect your phone or computer to the same local network as NAMO, then open:
http://<device-ip>/dashboard
On the same network, you can also try http://<device-name>.local/dashboard. Use the IP address if .local does not open. If you do not know the IP address, check the router's client list for a device whose name begins with presence-sensor.
Caution
Never expose this address to the public internet. Do not use port forwarding, DMZ, a public reverse proxy, or an internet tunnel. For remote access, keep NAMO on the local network and connect to that trusted network through a VPN. See Network and security for details.

| Page | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | View live targets, floorplan or radar map, device status, and zone summaries. |
| Zone settings | Create detection and exit zones, and adjust false-detection areas. |
| Floorplan | Upload or draw a floorplan, edit rooms, and place the radar. |
| Device connection | Pair NAMO devices, align their positions, and manage a Fusion Group. |
| Detection statistics | Review recent detection activity and sensor behavior. |
| Management and backup | Update firmware, back up settings, review system information, or reset selected data. |
Some controls appear only when the required sensor or platform feature is available.
The status indicator at the top of the dashboard shows whether the browser is currently communicating with the device.
- Connected means the dashboard can read live data from this NAMO device.
- A disconnected or unavailable indication means the browser is not receiving the device's current state.
This indicator describes the browser-to-device connection. In a multi-device setup, check Device connection separately for the condition of each connected NAMO device and the Fusion Group.
When a floorplan is saved, the dashboard places radar observations on that floorplan. Without a floorplan, the same area displays the local radar map instead.

The live view can show:
- Up to three current radar targets
- The saved radar position and direction
- Detection zones and correction areas
- Room names, walls, doors, and furniture from a saved floorplan
- Fused targets when multiple NAMO devices are connected and position alignment is active
A target may disappear when the radar no longer reports it. The dashboard does not create a permanent movement history on this screen.
The label above the live view reports which visual source is ready:
- Floorplan ready means a stored floorplan is available for the live view.
- Radar map ready means the live radar view is available without a stored floorplan.
Standalone detection works without a floorplan. A floorplan is needed when you want room-based placement, shared coordinates, or multi-device fusion.
The dashboard summarizes configured detection and correction zones. Use Zone settings when you need to create or change them.
Do not use correction areas as the first response to every unstable target. Confirm the radar position, direction, room geometry, and the physical installation before excluding a large area.
Open Device connection to review connected NAMO devices. A completed secure connection does not join a device to fusion until its floorplan and position-alignment steps are complete.
During a role handover or a temporary network interruption, the group may briefly report a degraded state while the remaining devices continue local sensing. Wait for the status to settle before changing shared settings.
- Confirm that the phone or computer is still on the same local network as NAMO.
- Reload the page once.
- Open the device by IP address instead of its
.localname. - Check whether the device is restarting after a firmware update.
- If only one connected NAMO device is unavailable, open Device connection and check that device instead of resetting the whole group.
Avoid repeatedly reloading while a floorplan save, device pairing, calibration, or firmware update is still in progress.
