This section covers hardware recommendations and advanced configuration options found in Settings → Advanced.
These settings control the lower-level behavior of the plugin and file handling.
- Description: Defines the folder where AI-generated logs, analysis files, and compiled manuscripts are saved.

Default:
AI - Behavior: If the folder doesn't exist, the plugin will attempt to create it when needed.
- Description: When enabled, hovering over a truncated scene title in the timeline ring will expand it to show the full text.

- Description: Adjusts the global scaling of text elements within the radial timeline.

Options:
- Normal: Standard sizing.
- Large: Increases font sizes for better legibility on high-res screens or for accessibility.
- Description: Controls how quickly the timeline updates after you modify a note.

1000ms (1 second) - Use Case: Increase this value if you experience lag while typing in large vaults. This delays the refresh until you stop typing for the specified duration.
- Description: Clears the saved "dominant subplot" choices for scenes that belong to multiple subplots.
- Use Case: If you have manually clicked scenes to set their color and want to revert to the default automatic coloring (usually the first subplot listed), use this button.
The radial timeline is designed for high pixel density displays (around 200 ppi or higher) for optimal visual quality.
- All Apple Retina displays — 2x pixel density.
- Recommend Windows systems with 4k displays or higher. (Tested on 1080p 2550x1440)
- Tablets.
