Statistics
🇫🇷 Cette page en français : Statistiques
The Statistics tab reads the whole logbook and answers the questions an operator actually asks about it: how much have I worked, when am I on the air, which bands and modes, how far have I got, and — in a multi-operator station — who made the QSOs.
Everything on the tab obeys the filters at the top, so every figure is about the same set of contacts.
- Period — 30 days, 12 months, this year, everything, or a custom pair of dates.
-
Operator — narrows every statistic to one operator. A dash means the
contacts logged by the station owner, with no
OPERATORfield set. - Station callsign — for a club or a special event that logs under more than one call.
- Contest — one contest's contacts alone.
QSOs, unique callsigns, DXCC entities (with the date of the last new one), continents, and the confirmations: LoTW, eQSL, paper QSL.
Then the rate figures, which are four different questions and not one:
| Avg / hour | QSOs ÷ the whole period, breaks included. The honest rate. |
| Avg / hour on air | QSOs ÷ the hours you actually operated. Flattering, and say which one you mean. |
| Best 60 min | the best rolling hour, not the best clock hour — the figure contesters quote. |
| Time on air / Off air | the period minus every silence of 30 minutes or more. The two add up to the window, by construction. |
Charts or Table: the same data, drawn or listed, and the table is what you copy out of.
- Activity over time — QSOs per day, week, month or year. The granularity is Auto by default and steps itself up when the period is too long for the one asked for, rather than drawing a thousand bars.
- Rate sheet — hour by hour across the period, and who made the QSOs in each hour. Silent hours are left out. Up to 31 days.
- When you are on the air — by hour of day and by day of the week, in UTC. This is the chart that tells you whether your station has a rhythm or a habit.
- By band, in band-plan order rather than biggest first, so the shape of the log is comparable from one year to the next.
- Mode split by band — CW / phone / data for each band.
- By mode, by continent, by year, top DXCC entities.
- By operator and by station callsign, for a shared log.
A mode keeps the same colour in every chart on the tab, so CW is CW wherever you look.
- Awards — progress against a target, rather than a count.
- Recent QSOs and Filters — the same log, QSO by QSO, with the filter builder.
- Contest Logging — the live scoreboard during the contest itself.
