- Top: the Preset area, then the Sync RomStation DB, Select all, Deselect all, Rebase to… and Settings buttons
- Left: the systems of the RomStation library, with the number of games of each one
- Center: the games, as a mosaic of covers or as a detailed list
- Right: the A-Z rail, to jump to a letter
- Bottom: the status bar, with the number of selected games, the date of the last sync and the Update available link when a new version exists, see Updating RSRebase
RSRebase works on a copy of the RomStation database, made again at every startup. The Sync RomStation DB button makes it again without restarting the application, for example after downloading games in RomStation.
RomStation must be closed during the sync.
- By system: check or uncheck a system in the left list. Show empty consoles also shows the systems without games
- By title: the Search a game… field
- By letter: the A-Z rail on the right
- Sort: the Sort menu, by title or by system
- Display: the two icons at the top right switch between mosaic and list. In mosaic mode, the Size menu offers Normal and Large
- Issues only: shows only the games without a cover or whose file is missing. The button only appears when the library contains some
The detail window opens with a double-click on a game, or with the eye icon that appears on hover. Two buttons open the game page on the RomStation website and its folder in Explorer.
Checking the box of a game adds it to the next rebase.
- Check all and Uncheck all, at the bottom of the systems list, show or hide every system. They do not change which games are selected
- Select all and Deselect all, at the top, act on the games shown
Hiding a system does not uncheck its games.
- The N games selected badge counts every checked game, including those hidden by filters. Its cross clears the whole selection
- Each system of the list shows its own number of checked games

Rebase to… opens the rebase window with the checked games: see The rebase.
