Quick panel
Press the AYN button: Wayfinder's Quick panel opens on the bottom screen, over your game. It has brightness and volume, screen modes, live stats and your shortcut tiles.
The game keeps running under it — it doesn't pause. It also opens over a dual-screen game's second screen.
- Open: press the AYN button. (If the bottom screen is off, it turns back on first.)
- Close: press the AYN button again, press B (or Back), or press ✕ in the corner.
If you prefer AYN's own drawer: Wayfinder → Quick panel → turn off The AYN button opens the quick panel. The AYN button then opens AYN's drawer again. Nothing of AYN's is changed either way.
While it's off, the Hub has no Quick panel card. To turn it back on: More → Features → Quick panel (see Features & simple setup).
Want both? Keep the quick panel on the AYN button's tap, and put AYN's drawer on its hold (see The controller).
Wayfinder → Quick panel → More options → The panel takes the controller:
- On (default) — the D-pad and A move around the panel, B closes it. The game gets the controller back when it closes.
- Off — the panel is touch-only and the game keeps the controller while it's open. Close it with the AYN button or ✕.
The AYN button can do two things: a tap (default: the Quick panel) and a hold (default: Same as a tap). Each can be almost any Wayfinder action (for example Bottom screen off / on, Screenshot, Louder or AYN's drawer). Change them in Controller → Combos (top of the page) or on the Quick panel page. The AYN button can also start combos (hold it and press another button, like AYN + X). See The controller.
The top row: the time, and live readouts — CPU (load and temperature), GPU (load and temperature), RAM, Battery (level and power). Then Arrange, a settings button that opens Wayfinder, and ✕.
Under it, the cards, from top to bottom (default order):
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Now playing | The game or app under the panel, and whether it has its own performance, fan and refresh rate. |
| Screen modes | Both screens on / Top screen only / Bottom screen only. |
| Brightness and volume | A Both slider for each. Press the arrow next to it to show the Top and Bottom sliders. |
| Details (hidden by default) | CPU speed and temperature, GPU speed and temperature, battery temperature and about how long the battery will last. |
| Media (hidden by default) | What's playing, with Open, previous, play / pause and next. |
| Shortcuts | Your tiles. |
Change Performance, Fan, Refresh rate or the bottom screen from the panel while a game is running. A button appears on the Now playing card: Keep for game.
Press it and the game keeps those settings every time you play it. Inside an emulator, it's saved for that game only.
To go back to your normal settings for that game, press Use my usual on the same card.
The panel shows your tiles, four per row. A tile lights up when it's on.
Default tiles: Performance, Fan, Refresh rate, Frame rate, Controller lock, Screenshot, Keyboard & mouse, Game controls, Recent apps, App pairs.
There are 45 tiles to choose from, in three groups. You can also add tiles that open an app, an app pair or a Wayfinder page (below).

| Force landscape | Forces every app sideways. |
| Vibration | Rumble and vibration on / off. |
| Direct power | When plugged in, runs the Thor straight from the charger instead of charging the battery. Also in Battery → Charging. |

The Android and Thor switches use the Thor's system service. If it isn't reachable, they do nothing (see Help, troubleshooting & FAQ).
| Tile | What it does |
|---|---|
| An app | Shows the app's own icon. Opens the app on the screen with the controller. |
| An app pair | Opens both apps of the pair, each on its screen. |

To add one: Arrange → Add — a tile that opens… → + An app, + An app pair or + A Wayfinder page, then pick one. Apps are shown with their icons, with a search box ("Find an app…"). Cancel (or B) goes back without adding.
If you uninstall the app, or delete the pair, its tile goes away.
If you turned Keyboard & mouse or Game controls off in Features, their tiles (and the Gyro tile) are hidden.
Press Arrange at the top of the panel.
Cards: under "Cards — what the panel shows, top to bottom", each card has Up, Down and Shown / Hidden. Back to the default resets them.
