A glossary of the labels used on the TalentMAP project to help you get a better understanding on what they mean and how we use them.

Skill (Green)

  • Accessibility
  • Content
  • DevOps
  • Front end dev
  • Back end dev
  • User Experience
  • Visual Design

Work Status (Yellow)

  • Idea: New idea or request that come from the team which the product owner will need to review. Once reviewed, it will be changed over to ungroomed or closed out if the idea doesn't have merit.
  • Ungroomed: Tasks that the product owner has looked at but it hasn't been fully groomed for placement in the backlog.
  • Blocked: Not able to move forward with work due to conflict.
  • Need more info: There is not enough information to move forward. Information is requested from the submitter or team member is assigned to research.
  • Review ready: Task or pull request is ready for review from another team member.
  • Revisions needed: Requires corrections based on team feedback.

Type (Blue)

  • Bug: Error, failure, or flaw in the product.
  • Enhancement: Modification of product to enhance performance or correct faults for items that already exist.
  • Documentation: Relates to the development or modification of code, design, and product documentation
  • Epic: Large story that encompasses many other tasks that are both technical and design
  • Task: Small, discrete units of work (technical, design, research, etc) that feed into an assigned epic.
