This page is generated from docs/aide/en/: it is also the admin’s online help (“Help” menu). Edit it in the repository, not here.

This is the Today page, the one you land on. At the top, View site and ＋ Import photos. Then:

• To do: what needs your attention, sorted by urgency, each row with a button that leads to the screen that settles it. Urgency can be read without colour, by shape and by the order of the list:

  • ✕ in a square, urgent: a request for access or erasure (with its deadline, one month after the request; “overdue” beyond that); a refusal whose linked photos are still published (Apply the refusal);
  • ! in a triangle, soon: a person who refused while published photos from their outing are neither linked nor excluded (check whether they appear in them); new photographed people; failed Instagram posts (blocked by a consent or rejected by Instagram); Instagram paused;
  • hollow circle, when you have time: photos to finish, published photos without a town (missing from the world map), titles without a translation into English or German, proofs of prior existence pending after an error.

  Urgent items are also counted in the sidebar, next to Today (✕ and their number). The “without a town” and “without a translation” links open the filtered photo library; the filter chip, with ✕, removes it.

• To finish: drafts and photos that still have their provisional title, each with its direct action: Publish, or Add title (opens the details). Finish everything on one screen opens the photo library filtered on “To finish”.

• The site right now: the opening slideshow photos, in order, and the site theme. edit leads to Public site.

• Figures: today's visitors, published photos, drafts, series, photographers; a click opens the matching page.

• Photo of the moment: the photo most often opened full size over 30 days, with its number of openings. Statistics → opens the Statistics. This box only appears if photos have been viewed.

• Pace: the number of photos imported each month, over a year.

• Recent changes: the five most recently changed photos.

• Proofs of prior existence: number of timestamped photos, and those pending after an error, with Retry now. See Proofs of prior existence.

• What’s new: after an update, a window shows once, at your next sign-in, everything that arrived since your last visit (only what concerns your rights). Got it closes it. The What’s new menu (under Help) keeps every version, newest first, with the number of the installed version.

• Your account: the name of the signed-in account, its roles, and the photographer it is linked to. Emails are set here too:

  • Also notify me by email: proposals, decisions on your photos and notes, as they arrive;
  • Summary of what is waiting for you: never, every day or every week (on Monday). It goes out around 8 am, only if there is something, never more than once a day;
  • GDPR requests are always sent to you, with their reminders (see the “Photographed people” help).
  • Account not linked: an administrator links it to its photographer in Accounts and roles.
  • Account linked: your imports are attributed to you by default.

“Updating images” banner: it appears after a change of watermark, EXIF, author name… The counter moves on by itself; see Watermark and EXIF.
