Project UI Fixes 2026 10 17
All three findings in the sample-project review are resolved and accepted on local MicroK8s Helm revision 218. Application version remains 1.113.50; schema remains 20261017_0130. No GitHub commit, push, tag or pipeline was requested or performed.
| Finding | Delivered behaviour |
|---|---|
| P2: flagged task absent from board card | A visible ⚑ Flagged badge appears only on flagged cards. The text conveys the state without relying on colour; the decorative icon is hidden from assistive technology. Generated dark styles preserve contrast. |
| P3: search help denies sprint support | Supported-query guidance now explains open/closed/future sprint functions, calendar boundaries and selected CHANGED support. A working sprint-query example is included; WAS, custom-field and plugin limitations remain explicit. |
| P3: phone sprint action links wrap awkwardly | Report and board links are separate flex buttons. They wrap on desktop and stack below 600 px, including at 320 px width. |
The changes are limited to three templates, project CSS, generated dark CSS, extracted interface strings and regression coverage. All pre-existing local project changes were preserved. No database migration, production credential extraction or live authentication bypass was required.
- 87 functional tests passed; two optional tests skipped across project services, sprint/query behaviour, localization inventory and web themes.
- Four new browser cases passed: desktop light/dark, 320 px light and 390 px dark. Checks cover visible flags, absent flags on ordinary work, non-overlapping and contained sprint links, both link destinations, working sprint search, axe WCAG A/AA and JavaScript errors.
- Eight existing sprint/search browser cases passed in the combined run. The four new cases initially used an exact-text locator that included the decorative flag glyph; the locator was corrected and all four rerun successfully. No product code correction was needed for that test-harness issue.
- Ruff, localization extraction consistency, generated dark-theme consistency, whitespace and Helm lint passed.
- The fresh PostgreSQL backup was restored into an isolated scratch database: 165 tables, 487 tickets, four projects, 50 work items, head 20261017_0130. The scratch database was dropped after the check.
- Helm deployment and the retained Helm test succeeded. Web, outbox, events and AI workers are ready. Health/readiness passed, all 44 runtime source hashes match, PostgreSQL/uploads/backups PVC identities are preserved, and recent new-pod logs contain no ERROR/CRITICAL records or tracebacks.
- Public API OpenAPI returned 200; the website still redirects to the configured Cloudflare Access login. Public authenticated sign-in and live browser mutations were not retested; browser verification used disposable SQLite data and normal password login. No PostgreSQL concurrency or production-scale load test was needed for these template/CSS changes.
