Attachments
Applies to Motorcade 0.0.0-beta.1 for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).
Attachments are fitted to a finished vehicle, not to the assembler. Craft them at the Auto Mechanic Table, then right-click the vehicle with one to fit it, or with a crowbar to take it off.
A vehicle has one front attachment slot and one rear attachment slot.
| Attachment | What it does |
|---|---|
| Autopilot | Drives itself along a route of Autopilot Signs, with no player in the driver's seat. |
| Mob Controller | Puts a mob in the driver's seat and steers the car along that mob's own pathfinding. |
| Crop Harvester | Harvests fully grown crops as it drives, and replants one behind it. |
| Grass Cutter | Breaks bushes — anything that is a bush block but not a crop. |
Fit the Autopilot and place Autopilot Signs to mark the route; the vehicle reads them and drives the line. It brakes and burns out its tyres for a redstone-powered stop sign, and gets impatient and honks if a sign is missing. If a sign does not appear within a reasonable distance it gives up after a long timeout.
A driver holding an Autopilot Sign item blocks the vehicle, so you can interrupt an automated run.

| Ender Chest | Opens your own ender chest. |

| Smithing Table | Smithing menu. |
| Grindstone | Grindstone menu. |
| Stonecutter | Stonecutter menu. |
| Auto Mechanic Table | The mod's own parts menu, on the car. Useful for rebuilding without walking back. |
| Attachment | What it does |
|---|---|
| Backhoe | An extendable plough that turns grass and dirt into farmland. |
| Paver | An extendable paver that places path and ground blocks. |
Sneak and right-click the vehicle. The mobile workstations also open through the inventory button.
Both the Crop Harvester and the Grass Cutter will only modify the world when there is someone allowed to build in the driver's seat, or when the front attachment is actively driving — Autopilot or Mob Controller. A car with a harvester on the back and nobody in it will drive around doing nothing.
The Allow block is a hidden block that exists for this: place it to let a driver's build permission extend to the car, so an automated car can plough and harvest without a player aboard.
- Right-click the vehicle with an attachment item to fit it.
- Crowbar the front to remove the front attachment, or anywhere else for the rear one.
- If the vehicle has no attachments left, a crowbar destroys the whole vehicle instead — see Getting Started.
Attachments have no stats of their own and do not change how the car drives.
