| Vellumli 1.0.0+ | Required, on both client and server |
Nothing else is needed. No other library, no optional integration.
Both are required. Motorcade registers its network channel as not optional, so a client without the mod is refused at connection time. That applies to a dedicated server too.
Vehicles work in multiplayer, and other players see yours moving. But driving is client-authoritative: your client simulates the movement and sends its physics state to the server four times a second, and the server accepts it without checking it.
A modified client can therefore drive as fast as it likes, boost without limit, and fly. If you run a public server you need anti-cheat. This comes from the original mod's design and is not something the port introduced.
The server does authoritatively handle building a vehicle, fitting and removing attachments, and the crowbar.
Should work. World changes happen on the server, client-only rendering code is properly split out, and the only command the mod adds is client-side.
| Mod | Support |
|---|---|
| JEI, EMI, REI, Jade | None at all. There is no integration. Motorcade's own recipe type has no external viewer, so there is no in-game recipe lookup for vehicle parts. The guide book is the substitute. |
| Controlify | Documented in the guide and in the translation keys, but not implemented in this build. |
| MidnightControls | Nothing. Some leftover translation keys only. |
Mods in motorcade:dash_panel_boostables
|
Soft support: driving over an unpowered Dash Panel boosts and shoves them. |
Functional gaps in this build:
- No fuel system. A vehicle never runs out and can be parked forever.
- No config file. Balance is fixed in the mod's data. Pack authors change it with data packs, not settings.
- No recipe-viewer integration, as above.
- Controller support is inert, as above.
- The Automobile Pressure Plate and the Allow block have no recipe. The Allow block is not even in a creative tab.
- The
c_arrframe and the Creative engine have no recipe either — prefabs and creative only. - Bikes and wheelies cannot be built. The code supports a two-wheel vehicle, but every frame in the game has four wheel positions. Only a data-pack frame with two wheels would enable it.
