v0.4.2: Fix standalone monitor dependencies

Fix standalone monitor startup after Pi-managed installation

The monitor in 0.4.1 could fail with ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND: @earendil-works/pi-tui. Pi's managed installs disable host peer installation, while the separate Node monitor cannot use Pi's extension module loader.

• Install the monitor's pinned TUI runtime through the pi-intercom-tui npm alias; leave extension host peers provided by Pi.
• Use the same dependency in monitor rendering tests.
• Add an isolated tarball-install regression with --omit=dev --legacy-peer-deps: no host peers, fresh monitor imports and non-TTY CLI validation. Included in Windows/Linux package CI.
• Align the Node requirement to 22.19+, matching the runtime dependency.

Upgrade

Run pi update npm:@comput/pi-intercom and /reload the coordinator/workers. Explicitly update pinned versions. Restart an existing monitor process to load the new display code. An existing failed monitor pane is preserved rather than automatically restarted.

Config-root discovery is unchanged; this patch only addresses monitor dependency packaging. Stop/close safety restrictions remain unchanged.

Validation

Local typecheck, 112 tests and the isolated packaging regression passed. Publication is gated by Windows/Linux CI. Non-TTY import checks do not claim a live Windows/Herdr terminal test.

v0.4.1: Coordinator workspace and JSON worker status

Coordinator workspace and JSON worker status

• Standalone Herdr terminal monitor replaces the browser dashboard: worker selection, details, public activity and report status; no extra agent/model.
• intercom_worker_status returns bounded, paginated JSON observations and public reports, optionally by worker name. Shared monitor semantics; no Telegram dependency or worker probing.
• intercom_report_work supports blocked, needs-decision, ready-for-review and clear. Reports notify the coordinator without automatic approval, assignments or task completion.
• Bounded local snapshots, guarded report persistence, packaged monitor build, and migration of retired dashboard metadata.

0.4.0 did not publish to npm because a Windows-specific path assertion failed. This release fixes the test's platform-native expectation without changing production parser behavior; the 0.4.0 tag is unchanged.

Worker status is last-observed evidence, not guaranteed current liveness. Reports are self-reported and persist until replaced/cleared, not accepted completion. Stop/close remain disabled.

Validation

Local typecheck and all 112 tests passed. Independent review confirmed the test-only path correction and checked status-tool bounds/semantics. Package checks and clean production imports passed for the implementation. Windows/Linux CI gates npm publication; local Linux tests do not establish live Windows/Herdr behavior.

• Replace the browser dashboard with a standalone terminal monitor above the coordinator in Herdr. Keyboard selection, scrolling and worker details; no extra agent/model.
• Add intercom_worker_status: bounded, paginated JSON of worker observations and public reports, optionally selected by name. Shares interpretation with the monitor; no Telegram dependency or worker probing.
• Add intercom_report_work: explicit blocked, needs-decision, ready-for-review and clear reports. Reports notify the coordinator but never automatically approve, assign, resume or complete work.
• Show detailed public activity phases with timestamps and stale/unknown/conflicting evidence. No private reasoning or tool payloads in activity logs.
• Package built monitor output and migrate retired dashboard metadata on coordinator startup.

Adds Linux interactive Pi startup, messaging, dashboard, and Herdr worker launch/resume command support.

• Preserves Windows launch behavior.
• Safely quotes Linux shell arguments; Linux none remains unsupported, with no implicit fallback.

• Local validation: typecheck, 67/67 tests, package dry-run, and diff checks passed.
