- The 11-key layout combines elements of both the 5-key and 7-key layouts.
- Since it supports both styles, you can switch between 5-key and 7-key modes depending on the situation.
- A major feature is the ability to create dynamic expressions through "right-hand movement" (where the right hand handles the 5-key section [arrow keys] and the right side of the 7-key layout [J, K, L]),
as well as "left-hand movement" or "cross movement" (where the left hand handles both the 5-key section and the right side of the 7-key layout).
- On some sites, such as difficulty charts, symbols ranging from A to G are listed separately from the difficulty rating.
These are called "Mov Levels" and indicate the hand movement and Alt components inherent in finger-movement-type keys, distinct from the overall difficulty.
They are not dependent on the chartβs difficulty but focus on whether finger-movement-type key techniques are required. - For more details, please refer to the About Mov Level section.
- Minimum width: 650px
- Step spacing: 55px
- The CW Edition supports 11L, 11i and 12key alternate modes.
- KeyPattern: 1 has different scroll directions for the 5-key and 7-key sections, making it easy to tell when to move.
- KeyPattern: 2 appears easier to anticipate because the scroll directions are the same, but the timing for movement can be difficult to grasp until you get used to it.

- In 11-key mode, simply using the Mirror function increases the difficulty of moving, so a Shuffle Group option is provided to mitigate this.
- The Shuffle option basically shuffles lanes with the same numbers.
