- 11Lkey is the left-hand version of 11key. With the left hand responsible for 7 to 8 keys, it features a highly distinctive key layout.
- All keys on the left side are adjacent to one another, positioned within easy reach for short movements.
- Simultaneous presses that span across these adjacent keys (2D layout) are highly effective for creating a strong impression, and this is a defining characteristic of this key layout.
- Compared to the standard 11-key layout, finger movement is easier, so rather than adapting to specific situations, many charts seem to make full use of all 11 keys.
- On some sites, such as difficulty charts, symbols ranging from A to G are listed separately from the difficulty rating.
These are called "Mov Levels" and indicate the hand movement and Alt components inherent in finger-movement-type keys, distinct from the overall difficulty.
They are not dependent on the chartβs difficulty but focus on whether finger-movement-type key techniques are required. - For more details, please refer to the About Mov Level section.
- Minimum width: 600px (650px including alternate key modes)
- Step spacing: 55px
- The CW Edition supports 11, 11i and 12key alternate modes.

- Just like with 11Lkey, performing moves such as βMirrorβ directly makes them more difficult to execute, so there is a shuffle group option to mitigate this.
- With the Shuffle option, lanes with the same number are generally shuffled.

| 11Wkey | A keymode similar to the 11Lkey, with keys on the top row of the 7-key layout. |
| 15Akey | A keymode that combines elements of the 11key and 11Lkey. It allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds. |
| 15Bkey | A keymode that adds U/I/8/O keys to the 11Lkey. Unlike the 15A, it is symmetrical and also incorporates elements similar to the 9Akey. |
