JobNavigator
JobNavigator is a self-hosted job-hunt automation tool, run locally via Docker, that combines scraping, AI scoring, and application generation into one pipeline.
Job hunting at scale involves three repetitive tasks: finding openings across many career pages and job boards, judging which ones fit a given background, and producing a tailored application for each. JobNavigator automates all three from a single self-hosted instance. It scrapes career pages and job boards, scores each opening against the user's own résumés using AI, generates tailored résumés and cover letters, and auto-fills application forms and their free-text questions from a stored personal profile. A companion Chrome extension and Telegram alerts round out the workflow, and every application is tracked in one place rather than scattered across email threads and browser tabs.
The project runs entirely under the user's own control: MIT-licensed, packaged for local Docker, with no vendor account or cloud dependency required. As of this radar entry it carries 113 stars, zero open issues, and was pushed within the past few days, indicating active and current maintenance rather than an abandoned experiment.
It has not been used first-hand in this radar owner's own job search, so it sits at Assess rather than Trial.
