Setting up translation tasks
Project managers and administrators can request translations. We have configured separate permissions for translations as below.
We leverage the translation capabilities of the webform module to translate text. Each webform has a dedicated translation interface. To translate the text strings in the questionnaire, click the drop-down arrow and select translate. This would allow the user to select the language in which they would like to get the questionnaire translated.
Content i.e. nodes in Drupal are also translatable. As per our configuration, Project Managers, Doctors and Nurses can do the translation. Again with each content a dedicated translate link is available where languages to be translated can be selected by the user.
Views are used to display list of related content or forms to users. As a configuration object, we provide permission for translating views to administrators only.
