Weather and Other Bands
Applies to the published v0.3.0-beta.1 release. Device screenshots below came from a PNG-capable build based on later main source; see Screenshot Catalog.
Start with a working FM setup, then choose Weather and a local NOAA channel with a suitable VHF antenna. For Airband, Marine, and Satellite, read the route limitations below before expecting voice or decoding.
Open WEATHER, select a local NOAA weather channel and adjust volume. Reception uses narrow FM. Shared Radio, Scope and Capture views provide tuning, signal display and post-demodulated audio capture. Use a suitable VHF antenna; current-release RF acceptance remains unverified.
| Entry | Current boundary |
|---|---|
| Airband | Generic Browse/NFM near 121.5 MHz; not a complete AM aviation-voice receiver |
| Marine | Generic NFM routing; no dedicated marine dashboard or broad current RF acceptance |
| Satellite | General routing near 137.5 MHz; no dedicated satellite decoder |
Dashboard labels do not imply complete dedicated decoders. Use FM Radio to establish that the receiver and speaker work before diagnosing an experimental band.
These are actual 1280 × 720 Tab5 captures from 29 September 2026, using PNG-capable source 897c60a. They show the interface, not proof of reception. Live and demo refer to capture mode; the source is newer than the published release binary. See Screenshot Catalog for file hashes and provenance.

Published beta.1 release identifies the package. The feature-status record separates implemented routes from unverified RF behavior; it may describe later source state. The published release identifies the installed package. A merged PR or source test alone does not establish live reception on every setup. Screenshots from the later capture build are identified in Screenshot Catalog.
