Wi Fi Survey
Applies to the published v0.3.0-beta.1 release. Most survey captures remain local because they display nearby network identifiers. Two safe views appear below.
Open 2.4 GHz WIFI from Home. This surveys access points through the Tab5 wireless coprocessor; it is not an RTL-SDR spectrum analyzer.
| Page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | Scan status, strongest observations and APs by channel |
| Channels | Channel distribution and an AP-footprint overlap estimate |
| Devices | Observed APs: SSID, BSSID, channel, RSSI, security and PHY |
| CSI | Explicitly unavailable/experimental; no motion or presence sensing claimed |
| Settings | Connectivity shortcut for Wi-Fi power, saved profiles and antenna selection |
Use RESCAN for a new survey. Results belong to the completed scan, not continuous channel-occupancy measurements. Wi-Fi work can pause SDR reception while shared resources are used.
All five current screen captures are indexed in Screenshot Catalog. On the device, move among Overview, Channels, Devices, CSI and Settings using the bottom tabs. CSI explicitly says it is unavailable in the real survey; it is not a motion or presence feature.
Open 2.4 GHz WIFI, press RESCAN, and wait for the scan to complete before reading Overview or Channels. A survey measures nearby access points through the Tab5 coprocessor; it is not a continuous spectrum measurement.
These live device views were captured on 29 September 2026 using PNG-capable source 897c60a, which is newer than the published release binary. The pages with observed SSIDs or BSSIDs are held locally.

PR #33: Wi-Fi analysis dashboard records the survey interface; PR #107: C6 link recovery records the later connection fix. The published release identifies the installed package. A merged PR or source test alone does not establish live reception on every setup. Screenshots from the later capture build are identified in Screenshot Catalog.
