Archer Armor
Archer armor is an unusual armor set that trades defense for increased strength of arrows.
Archer armor is crafted with the shown recipes, for (from left to right, top to bottom) helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.
Archer armor can be repaired using chains.
Archer armor can be upgraded to Ranger armor using a Netherite ingot and Netherite Upgrade smithing template. And as with all Valiance items, when upgraded with Netherite, archer armor may seem to not be changed in the smithing table output, but will once entering the inventory. (This issue cannot currently be fixed but will be in the future.)
Arrow damage is based on bow charge, and it scales massively. To put this into perspective, the Power V enchantment increases arrow strength by 2.5, making full Archer armor equivalent to Power II, while also stacking with Power and Shortbow or Longbow damage bonuses.
