Bedazzle
Bedazzle are tough amethyst elementals visually similar to Blazes and Breezes. They are found deep underground in the Overworld, most often in the deepslate zone.
Bedazzle have a max health stat of 20, similarly to most common hostile mobs. They will swiftly move around the player, keeping a sharp eye on your movements. Unlike other elementals, Bedazzle are able to move while attacking, often strafing similar to Skeletons and moving erratically to confuse the player.
Bedazzle hover slightly above the ground and are therefor immune to fall damage, and will fall slightly slower than most mobs.
Bedazzle have 2 attacks, using the most effective one depending on how close the player is.
The shard attack unleashes a volley of 3 amethyst shard projectiles, which will swiftly move in a straight line directly towards the target, dealing 4 base damage on hit.
The spike attack rocks the ground below, causing multiple amethyst stalagmites to drill from the ground in a line, similar the Evoker's fang attack. These spikes deal 5 base damage on hit.

- Nearly every update from 1.1 to 1.5 has modified Bedazzle behavior, stats, or spawning in a way.
- Prior to the introduction of Bounties, Bedazzle dropped amethyst shards instead of their rods.
- A group of Bedazzle is called a Trove.
