Installation
To install ZoomArc, download ZoomArc.Setup.0.12.1.exe from the latest release and run it — or download the portable ZoomArc.0.12.1.exe and run it without installing. ZoomArc runs on 64-bit Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer) and Windows 11.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041) or newer, or Windows 11 — 64-bit |
| Why that version | ZoomArc uses Windows Graphics Capture to record without the system cursor in the video; cursor exclusion needs Windows 10 2004+ |
| Graphics | Any DirectX 11 GPU. A GPU with a hardware H.264 encoder (Intel Quick Sync, NVIDIA NVENC, AMD AMF — nearly every GPU from the last decade) gives the best performance |
| Disk space | ~300 MB for the app, plus space for your recordings |
| macOS / Linux | Not currently supported |

ZoomArc isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn you the first time you run it. To continue: click More info → Run anyway. You can verify you have the genuine file by downloading only from the official Releases page.
Download the newest release and run the installer over your existing installation — your recordings are kept. See Release Notes for what changed.
Each recording ("take") is saved in its own folder inside ZoomArc's data folder (usually %APPDATA%\ZoomArc\takes). Use Show in folder on the recorder screen to open it. A take contains raw.mp4 (the screen video), mouse.json (cursor and click data) and, if used, camera.webm.
Installer version: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → ZoomArc → Uninstall. Portable version: delete the .exe. Your recordings stay in the data folder until you delete them.
