Ergo

Ergo is Latin for “therefore” or “thus.” 

The well-known Latin phrase post hoc ergo propter hoc (“after this, therefore resulting from it”) is used to describe the logical fallacy of assuming a causal relationship between events solely because one event preceded the other.
