Form 10 q

Anton Vasilescu edited this page May 9, 2023 · 1 revision

Form 10-Q is a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) periodic report that public companies file to disclose the results of their business operation for their past fiscal quarter.

The disclosures in a 10-Q are similar to those in a Form 10-K, except with less detail and the financial statements are unaudited. Public companies will only file three 10-Qs per year, as the final quarter is covered by the company’s Form 10-K.

For more illustrations, see the SEC Form 10-Q General Instructions and a recent example of Apple’s Form 10-Q for the third quarter of 2021.
