Build the frame

Put a kit in a photo frame, and connect it to power.

Parts

• An EE03 or EE02 kit. See Kits and screens to choose.
• A photo frame deep enough for the driver board. See The frame.
• A USB-C cable and power adapter. You can also add a battery.

Assemble

1. Attach the XIAO board to the driver board.
2. Connect the screen's ribbon cable to the driver board, and close the latch.
3. Put it in the frame in portrait orientation. Leave the buttons where you can reach them.

Buttons

The XIAO board has a USB-C port for power and installing the firmware, four buttons, and a power switch that matters only on battery. What each button does is on Your frame.

Status LED (optional)

You can add a small color LED behind the mat that shows what the frame is doing. See Status LED.
