N: SIO Command SET TRANSLATION ($54) ['T']

This is a command for Devices $71-$78 - The N: Device (see SIO-Commands-for-Device-IDs-$71-to-$78).

Description

Set the aux1 and aux2 parameters for a given channel. This has the effect of setting translation for a given Network protocol, and is overridden by a subsequent OPEN command.

Aux1 values

aux1 description
4 READ
8 WRITE
12 READ/WRITE

Aux2 values

These values change how incoming CR/LF characters are translated into EOL, and translate how EOL characters are turned back into CR or CR/LF, respectively:

aux2 description
0 No Translation
1 CR to EOL, EOL to CR
2 LF to EOL, EOL to LF
3 CR/LF to SPACE/EOL, EOL to CR/LF
