Content Entries

The Content page controls what is displayed on a UniPanels panel.

Depending on the panel type, content can include:

  • custom text;
  • item icons;
  • source-based values;
  • scrolling entries;
  • synchronized groups.

Content List

The Content page shows all entries currently configured on the panel.

From here you can:

  • add a Text Entry;
  • add an Icon Entry;
  • edit an existing entry;
  • move entries up or down;
  • delete entries.

Entry order is preserved and affects how the panel's content is organized.

Adding Content

Use:

  • + Text to create a new Text Entry;
  • + Icon to create a new Icon Entry.

The new entry can then be configured from its dedicated editor.

Editing Entries

Selecting an entry opens its editor inside the UniPanels workspace.

The main Content section remains selected while editing.

Text and Icon entries share a common configuration structure for supported properties such as:

  • size;
  • color;
  • alignment;
  • scrolling;
  • scrolling speed;
  • group membership.

See:

Entry Order

Entries can be moved using the ordering controls in the Content list.

This allows you to reorganize a panel without deleting and recreating entries.

Scrolling

Entries can scroll independently.

Each eligible entry can have its own:

  • scrolling state;
  • scrolling speed.

Entries that belong to a synchronized group use the group's scrolling settings while grouped.

See Groups and Synchronized Scrolling.

Groups

Text and Icon entries can be combined into synchronized scrolling groups.

Grouped entries preserve their relative positions while moving together.

Individual entry settings are retained underneath the group settings and become active again if the entry leaves the group.

Live Preview

While editing supported entries, the left-side navigation area can be switched to Live Preview.

This allows you to inspect changes to:

  • size;
  • color;
  • alignment;
  • scrolling;
  • icon selection;
  • other visual settings;

without closing the editor.
