Artifice and Machines

This page gives a short overview of the main Thaumic Forever machines and utility blocks.

Machine/block	Function
Compressor	Presses ingots into matching plates. MECHANISM essentia speeds up processing.
Deconstruction Table	Breaks items with aspects into Knowledge Fragments.
Mattery Duplicator	Replicates crafting results using Mattery essentia. Arcane recipes may also require vis and primal aura.
Flux Scraper	Periodically drains a small amount of flux or vis from the local aura.
Void Chest	Shared void-linked storage. Chests can be linked with a name tag.
Void Beacon	Uses essentia and nearby flux rifts to produce configured outputs into adjacent inventories.
Redstone Ticker	Generates changing redstone power at short random intervals.
Time Stone	Accelerates nearby ticking tile entities in a small area.
Time Slow	Slows supported ticking logic in a small area.
Temporal Accelerator	Strongly accelerates nearby ticking tile entities.
Anti-Flight Stone	Disables non-creative flight in a large area.
Flight Stone	Grants flight while players remain inside its area.
Arcane Turret	Uses a focus lens to automatically cast at selected target types.
Decoy Mannequin	Stationary decoy that attracts hostile mobs.
Crystallizer	Converts surplus primal aura or centivis into vis crystals.
Primal Aura Converter	Converts primal centivis into primal aura in the current chunk.

Notes

Some machines require essentia, vis, primal aura, centi-vis to work.
