Integrations

Thaumic Forever supports several optional mods, adding new recipes, research, materials and mechanics when those mods are installed.

Core and interface compatibility

Thaumic JEI	Supported	Thaumic Forever's Arcane Wand Workbench recognizes its Arcane Crafting recipe categories.
GroovyScript	Optional	Allows modpack creators to configure parts of the built-in Old Research system.

Baubles compatibility

Thaumic Forever's Mystic Slots system works only with the original Baubles mod.

Baubles forks and replacements such as BaublesEX and Bubbles are detected, but the Mystic Slots modifications are disabled to avoid incompatible changes to the Baubles API.

JEI integration

JEI is strongly recommended because Thaumic Forever adds many crafting, infusion, crucible and machine recipes.

The integration adds:

• a recipe category for the Deconstruction Table;
• recipe transfer support for the Arcane Wand Workbench;
• the Arcane Wand Workbench and its Charger as compatible Arcane Crafting catalysts;
• compatibility with common Thaumcraft and Thaumic JEI recipe category IDs.

Botania

Botania adds several materials to the modular wand system.

Wand caps

Wand rods

Livingwood and Dreamwood rods can regenerate wand charge over time. Their behavior depends on the rod and the surrounding environment.

Botania Alchemy also adds a crucible method for creating a Black Lotus.

Blood Magic

Blood Magic adds:

• Alchemical Cap;
• Blood Rod.

The recipes support different registry variants of the Weak Blood Orb and Apprentice Blood Orb used by Blood Magic versions for Minecraft 1.12.2.

The Blood Rod can convert part of the wielder's health into wand charge.

Embers Rekindled

Embers adds:

• Dawnstone Cap;
• Archaic Rod.

The Archaic Rod slowly restores its stored charge and works especially well in hot environments.

The EMBERSALKIMIA research also provides alchemical compatibility with Embers addons.

Aetherworks

When Aetherworks is installed, Embers Alchemy gains a crucible recipe for Aether Ore.

Soot

When Soot is installed, Embers Alchemy gains a crucible recipe for Sulfur Ore.

Immersive Engineering

The IMMERALKIMIA research adds an alternative crucible method for obtaining Steel.

The recipe accepts Steel through the Ore Dictionary, allowing it to work with compatible Steel Ingots registered by other mods as well.

Industrial Upgrade

It adds:

• Chromium Native Clusters;
• Iridium Native Clusters;
• cluster smelting into Industrial Upgrade metals;
• an alchemical method for obtaining Uranium Ore;
• Thaumium Core;
• Void Core;
• advanced Industrial Upgrade solar-panel recipes;
• additional smelting bonuses for supported Industrial Upgrade materials.

Thaumium Core and Void Core are integration-only crafting components and are not used by standalone Thaumic Forever recipes.

The related content is unlocked through IUALKIMIA, displayed as Industrial Alchemy.

Applied Energistics 2

Applied Energistics 2 adds:

• Certus Quartz Native Clusters;
• Charged Certus Quartz Native Clusters;
• smelting results for both cluster types;
• a crucible method for creating Certus Quartz.

The cluster system provides an additional thaumaturgical way to process AE2 quartz materials.

Astral Sorcery

The ASTRALALKIIA research adds Astral Sorcery alchemy.

It includes crucible methods for creating:

• Aquamarine;
• Starmetal Ore;
• Marble.

The integration also adds an infusion recipe for a Collector Crystal using Astral Sorcery materials.

Thaumic Additions: Reconstructed

Thaumic Additions: Reconstructed uses the mod ID thaumadditions.

Wand components

• Mithrillium Cap
• Adaminite Cap
• Mithminite Cap
• Adaminitewood Rod

Primordial Guardian

The integration adds the PrimordialGuardian research to the Primal category and enables the Primordial Guardian block.

The Guardian stores Caeles essentia and uses Primordial Pearls to grant a player one-use protection from death.

When the protection activates:

• the player's death is prevented;
• the player is restored to full health;
• the stored protection is consumed.

Primordial Guardian research can also appear among Primal research scrolls.

Thaumic Bases

Thaumic Bases adds the Thauminite Cap to the modular wand system.

The Compressor also gains direct support for:

• Thauminite Ingots;
• Thauminite Plates.

Thaumic Bases Ender Leaves gain a chance to drop an Ender Pearl when broken.

Planar Artifice

Planar Artifice adds:

• Alkimium Cap;
• Bismuth Cap.

Thaumic Forever also recognizes Planar Artifice aspects in compatible infusion and time-related recipes.

The integration requires a Planar Artifice version containing the expected Alkimium and Bismuth materials. If those items are unavailable, their recipes are not registered.

Thaumic Tinkerer and KAMI

Thaumic Forever can add:

• Ichorium Cap;
• Ichorcloth Rod.

The compatibility system first searches for matching Ore Dictionary entries and then checks known Thaumic Tinkerer KAMI materials.

Custom Ichor materials can be specified in the configuration:
