Aura Meter

The aura meter is a new optional stat displayed under player names upon close inspection. It quantifies their aura to enable legitimate mogging comparisons between players.

"No mog-off is complete without a tasteful soundtrack of your favorite music slowed and reverbed."
- Zook

Behaviours

The aura meter has a minimum and maximum bound of -100 to 100 aura points.

Mob Killing:

Upon killing any mob, players gain aura points equal to the vanquished mob's health divided by 10 (rounded up).

Upon breaking any diamond ore or ancient debris, players gain 5 aura points.

Fall Damage:

Upon taking any fall damage without dying, players lose aura points equal to half the amount of fall damage they've taken.

Melee Attacks:

Upon dealing any melee damage to another player, the attacking player gains 1 aura point and the hurt player loses 1 aura point.

Ranged Attacks:

Upon hitting another player with a projectile, the attacking player gains 2 aura points and the hurt player loses 2 aura points.

Death:

Upon dying, players lose 20 aura points.
