Sailboat
Sailboats are drivable vehicle entities that can be ridden through water, and have up to 5 customizable seating slots. Most mobs board nearby sailboats, which they cannot control or exit on their own.
Sailboats can be crafted with any colour wool and a normal boat with some corresponding wood planks. They act as an upgrade to normal boats. Sailboats cannot be crafted through upgrading a bamboo raft.
Ingredients: Wool
Result: Sailboat

A sailboat used as fuel in a furnace lasts 120 seconds, smelting up to 12 items.
Sailboats begin with 9 inventory slots, but can be expanded using up to two chests to 27 and 54 slots respectively.
A player enters a sailboat by using it, if the sailboat is not fully occupied (sailboats can hold up to five entities).
A sailboat can be exited by sneaking, tapping the "Leave Boat" button when using touch controls, or jumping. When exiting a sailboat, the player is placed on the center of the sailboat.
Sailboats are controlled using the forward, left (turns left), right (turns right), and backward keys. Rather than simply moving forward or backward in correspondence with the movement keys, sailboats are controlled through the height of their sail. Pressing the forward or backward buttons increase and decrease the total speed of the sailboat by raising and lowering the sail.
Sailboats have five open seats by default, with the controlling seat in the rear. The other four seats can optionally be replaced with up to two chests or four cannons. Upon placing a chest in a slot, the slot's seat is removed. Upon placing a cannon in a slot, the slot's seat is adjusted so that any entity or player sitting there will face the direction of the cannon. A slot can be reset by interacting with it using an axe.
Cannons on board can either be fired by the captain or any player sitting in the same slot a cannon is occupying. Cannons are fired by attacking, like their standalone counterparts. If the captain is the one firing a cannon, swinging towards the left or the right will fire all unoccupied cannons on the corresponding side of the sailboat. If a passeger is firing a cannon, only the cannon in the seat they are occupying will fire. Cannons require the presense of both cannonballs and gunpowder in the sailboat inventory to fire.
Sailboats have 8 () health points and regenerate 0.1
Sailboats can be destroyed by explosions, fire and lava, cactus, and by being punched/shot by mobs, such as drowned.
When a sailboat is destroyed, it drops itself in item form.
Sailboats can support up to five riders, including mobs. A mob cannot exit a sailboat and is trapped until the sailboat gets destroyed, or until the player uses a fishing rod or lead to remove the mob. This can be used to transport mobs, although hostile mobs still attack while in sailboats.
Riding a sailboat does not deplete hunger, making it an efficient way to travel.
Sailboats can completely nullify fall damage for themselves and any players/mobs inside, making them useful for travel through mountains or through the Nether.
A sailboat has a solid collision box, which means players and other entities can't go through it even at high speeds. Falling blocks are also blocked by sailboats.
Leads can be attached to sailboats. The lead has no effect if a player is riding the sailboat, however sailboats with other passengers can be pulled by leads, allowing for transportation of otherwise unleashable mobs such as villagers.
