Factions

Factions are a new system for organizing players together under one faction name and colour. Factions allow players to create exclusive groups that give each access to private waystones, can view each other's location waypoints, and send and recieve private group messages. Once a player has joined a faction, their faction name and colour will appear under their username display for other players to see. Players can only be a member of one faction at a time.

Commands

Note: Due to a bug, playerName arguments only support strings matching the name of an online player, with quotes if necessary (ie. the name includes a space).

/createfaction <name: string> <faction_colour: string>

This command is used to create a new faction. The name argument must be encompassed in quotes ("") in order to be parsed if it includes any spaces. The colour argument allows faction owners to choose any of the available armour trim material colours to represent their faction.

Example: /createfaction "Iron Inquisitors" iron

/deletefaction

This command is used to delete a faction, removing all players from the faction including the owner. Only the owner of a faction can run this command.

/invitefaction <playerName: string>

This command is used to invite another online playerr into a faction. Anyone in a faction can run this command.

Example: /invitefaction ShortPlayerName
Example: /invitefaction "Long Player Name"

/joinfaction

This command can be run by a player who receieved a faction invite to join the faction from their most recent invitation.

/kickfaction <playerName: string>

This command is used to kick a player from a faction, and can only be run by the faction owner.

/leavefaction

The player who executes this command will leave their current faction if they are in one.

/listfaction

Running this command lists all of the players currently in your faction, including a tag for the owner.

/messagefaction <message: string>

The message faction command is used to send a private message to all online faction members. Ensure that any messages that include spaces are encompassed in quotes.

Example: /messagefaction "The new secret base is 1000 blocks east of spawn. Don't tell anyone!"

/renamefaction <name: string> <faction_colour: string>

This command is used to change the name and colour of a faction, and only the faction owner can use it.

/transferfaction <playerName: string>

If a faction owner runs this command with the name of one of their faction members, ownership of the faction is transferred to that player.

Example: /transferfaction "Player Name"
