Personal catalogue and Save As

English | Русский

Updated 31 October 2026. Issued private alpha: 0.19.328. This is not a public beta or a Thunderstore package. Version and limits.

The internal 0.19.329 candidate has passed eight bounded native data checks. Four direct producer-profile checks (.blueprint/.vbuild) have passed independent review. Acceptance of 2.17 covers codec/profile data only in the internal 0.19.329 candidate. Strict player-state endpoints differ; the cause is not established. Inventory, source files and catalogue content hashes were preserved; the ordinary-save comparison covered metadata only. This run does not establish UI, world construction, new visual frames, networking or a cold-process test. The next requirement is 2.18; the 2.16 HOLD is unchanged. The .280 examples and 23 October captures describe their historical version; they do not validate 0.19.328 or the 0.19.329 candidate.

Purpose and starting point

Keep your variations separate from external sources. Open an existing document or select its catalogue card. Export a copy before deleting anything you may need later.

Save a variant

  1. Ctrl+S saves the current personal entry.
  2. Use Ctrl+Shift+S for SAVE AS… when you want a separate variant.
  3. Enter a name and category; Existing… lets you choose an existing category.
  4. Select SAVE, then inspect the new card. A new ID distinguishes this copy; the original is not replaced.

The editor chapter shows the actual Workbench interface. A clean, entirely English Save As screenshot is still requested; an older mixed-language prototype image is not presented as current English UI.

Organise and find entries

Filter by category and search. In the hammer catalogue, LMB selects a card, MMB toggles favourites, and Q/E or PageUp/PageDown changes pages. Hold RMB to access actions such as RENAME and category assignment. A category is document metadata, not a move to an arbitrary disk folder.

Delete or hide

For a personal entry, choose Delete blueprint, read the prompt, then select CONFIRM DELETE. For an external source, use Hide from catalogue: its original file remains. Restore to catalogue returns a hidden entry through the available catalogue action.

Expected result: a personal entry is deleted or an external entry is hidden. This does not demolish a building in the world. Project cancellation is a separate board action. Editor Undo is not a deleted-card recycle bin.

Common problem — Share sends an old version: save the editor first. If the main save succeeds but the portable file fails, retry Share rather than creating more Save As copies.

Limits: the reference documentation lists 32 personal entries, 12 categories, and 100,000 parts across the personal library. These are distinct from a single import limit; follow the message in your build. Before importing a missing card again, check filters and hidden entries.
