Updated 31 October 2026. Issued private alpha: 0.19.328. This is not a public beta or a Thunderstore package. Version and limits.
The internal 0.19.329 candidate has passed eight bounded native data checks. Four direct producer-profile checks (.blueprint/.vbuild) have passed independent review. Acceptance of 2.17 covers codec/profile data only in the internal 0.19.329 candidate. Strict player-state endpoints differ; the cause is not established. Inventory, source files and catalogue content hashes were preserved; the ordinary-save comparison covered metadata only. This run does not establish UI, world construction, new visual frames, networking or a cold-process test. The next requirement is 2.18; the 2.16 HOLD is unchanged. The .280 examples and 23 October captures describe their historical version; they do not validate 0.19.328 or the 0.19.329 candidate.
For a report, record the BuildWorks version from the log, Valheim version, profile, mod list, last action, and full error message. For a project, keep its ID and log; for import, provide a permitted source file and its review. Do not automatically publish your whole profile, world, character, or tokens. Preserve the original data rather than clearing it.
| Symptom | Action | Expected result or limit |
|---|---|---|
| No UI | Close the game; check matching DLLs, duplicates, and LogOutput.log | Correct version loads; this alone does not validate features |
| Missing card | Reset search/category/source filters; check hidden entries | Find the existing entry without another import |
| Import saved, catalogue stale | Use Refresh catalogue | Open the copy already written |
| Share contains old edits | Save the editor first | Transfer the saved variant |
| Save succeeded, portable copy failed | Retry Share and check path access | Main entry survives the portable-file failure |
| Missing prefab | Check dependency/review; make an explicit replacement | A marker is not presented as a reconstructed model |
| G cannot confirm | Aim at another part's surface or explicitly choose P | Obtain a support; selected parts do not support themselves |
| Editor walls block the view | F7 or Camera; inspect visibility and Alt+H | Temporary viewing without world changes |
| MMB removed a part | Ctrl+Z; check mode and pointer motion | A stationary click differs from orbit dragging |
| Upper floor absent from capture | Check plane Y, relative Top, loaded zones, and refresh | Inspect the actual list before saving |
| Selection refused | Reduce volume, refresh, inspect previous selection | No invented distant-zone loading |
| Construction stopped | Board with hammer; check resources/stations/permissions | Continue only permitted parts |
| Refund inventory full | Free a slot, then use E on the remaining item | Limited Wood path without repeated issuance |
| Project needs verification | Stop retries; keep log and ID | Do not replace an uncertain outcome with another payment |
| Server timeout | Refresh before repeating; check server mod | Establish whether the request already completed |
Do not delete the library, imports, journals, receipts, or saves just to hide a failure. Do not downgrade DLLs over a newer format without a compatible backup. Catalogue entries, construction projects, and world objects are distinct.
Expected result: precise symptoms and a safe next step. A symptom does not establish its cause: slow rendering does not prove GPU memory exhaustion, and a successful tool response does not prove the right image. If the problem remains, send the prepared information to the developer.
