Grimoires
Grimoires are spell books that can be carried as equipment. Each grimoire stores spells on enchanted pages and provides stat bonuses similar to wands. Right-clicking a grimoire opens a virtual lectern UI for casting and page management.

A grimoire that stores spells on its enchanted pages.
The basic grimoire. Limited to Circle 2 spells with 3 pages for spell storage. Has the fastest cast time multiplier (0.6x) but lowest spell power.
A grimoire bound in runic leather, saturated with raw magical power.
The highest raw spell power grimoire with small bonuses to all elements equally. Ideal for generalist mages who want maximum flexibility.
Each elemental grimoire focuses power into a single element, granting +15 affinity in that element.

Each grimoire has a page count that determines how many spells it can store:
- Leather: 3 pages
- All others: 5 pages
Grimoires have a faster base cast time multiplier than wands:
- Leather: 0.6x (fastest)
- All others: 0.7x
Grimoires mirror wand stats closely but with faster cast times. The main differences:

Right-click a grimoire to open a virtual lectern UI that displays the grimoire's pages as a written book. Navigate to a spell page and close the book to cast. Sneak + right-click to open the Page Menu (chest GUI) for direct page management. See Casting Spells for full details.
All grimoires provide the grimoire component, which enables:
- Spell storage on enchanted pages
- Virtual lectern UI for casting
- Page management menu
- Stat bonuses when held
Grimoires are crafted using books as the base material. Elemental grimoires require additional elemental reagents corresponding to their element.
