The Magic Circle system is Alkatraz's core progression path. Each circle unlocks more powerful spells and increases your magical capacity.

Overview

Progress by accumulating Arcane Knowledge (gained from casting spells) and meeting circle-specific requirements. When ready, advance at the Arcane Table.

How to Advance

1. Right-click an Enchanting Table.
2. Select "Arcane Table" from the choice menu.
3. Click "Progression" (Nether Star).
4. Circles 1-9 are shown as colored glass panes:
   • Green -- Completed
   • Yellow -- Available to advance
   • Red -- Locked
5. Click a yellow pane to see requirements and confirm advancement.

• Max Mastery Magic Missile (250 mastery)

Circle 1 > 2

• 1,040 Arcane Knowledge
• 1 max-mastered Circle 1 spell

Circle 2 > 3

• 2,636 Arcane Knowledge
• 2 max-mastered Circle 2 spells

Circle 3 > 4

• 6,570 Arcane Knowledge
• 3 max-mastered Circle 3 spells
• Research: Awakened Focus

Circle 4 > 5

• 15,566 Arcane Knowledge
• 5 max-mastered Circle 3 spells
• Research: Ritual Geometry

Circle 5 > 6
