Getting Started
- Install Minecraft 1.21.1 and a compatible NeoForge 21.1.x build.
- Place the Reverie JAR in the
modsfolder on the server and every connecting client. - Start or restart the game/server.
- Back up an existing world before first use.
This release is for Minecraft 1.21.1.
Any vanilla bed color works in the recipe.
| Phantom Membrane | Echo Shard | Phantom Membrane |
| Amethyst Shard | Any Bed | Amethyst Shard |
| Phantom Membrane | Recovery Compass | Phantom Membrane |
There is also a 0.5% chance for a Dreamweaver's Bed to appear through the Ancient City loot integration.
- Place your Dreamweaver's Bed in the Overworld.
- Make sure you have Dream Time remaining.
- Use the bed once to receive the confirmation prompt.
- Use it again within five seconds.
- A Survival player lies down briefly before transitioning. Creative players transition immediately.
Nearby monsters that prevent normal sleep also prevent Survival players from entering. Creative players bypass that danger check.
You arrive on the white canvas at the same X/Z coordinates and enter Creative mode. You can fly whenever you choose.
Use the Dreamweaver's Bed in the Reverie to awaken. Falling into the void also awakens you safely.
Grass in the Reverie uses a consistent plains-style color.
Players begin with a configurable Dream Time reserve. Use Amethyst Shards on your own bed to add time. Staying after the reserve empties creates Drowsiness, which must clear before entering again.
Use the Recovery Compass to return to the connected bed, save destinations, visit anchors, or manage a Do Not Disturb zone.
When awakening, Reverie finds a safe position beside the waking bed. If that is unavailable, it uses the player's valid respawn location or world spawn.
Anything you created or collected in the dream stays there. Your waking inventory is restored when you return.
Reverie includes advancements for its main progression and teaching moments, including Dream Time, Dream Imprints, lighting previews, anchors, Figment Cages, Starbound, and Do Not Disturb.
