Recovery Compass
The vanilla Recovery Compass is Reverie's navigation and area-control tool.
Players entering without a saved Dream Inventory or Dream Imprint receive one by default. Servers can change the default starting items.
Use the compass in the Reverie to open Dream Destinations. From this menu you can:
- Return to the Dreamweaver's Bed used to enter
- Travel to saved Dream Anchors and bookmarks
- Load the Dream Inventory stored at a saved anchor
- Configure Do Not Disturb and nearby player roles
Unavailable or unsafe destinations cannot be selected.
Saved destinations belong to the player, not the individual compass. Dropping, replacing, or awakening without the item does not erase them. Destroying a saved bed removes its destination.
Use a Recovery Compass on a Dreamweaver's Bed in the Reverie to add or remove that bed as a destination. This interaction no longer awakens the player.
Named Dream Anchors use their anchor name in the menu. Other beds use the Dreamweaver's Bed name and coordinates.
Craft a Compass with one Echo Shard on each side:
| Echo Shard | Compass | Echo Shard |
|---|
Outside the Reverie, the item keeps its normal last-death behavior.
