Installation

Install the AdultHideout Repository first. Kodi will then receive AdultHideout releases and updates through its normal add-on update system.

Before you begin

Kodi may ask you to allow installation from unknown sources. Open Settings > System > Add-ons, enable Unknown sources, and confirm Kodi's warning. This setting is controlled by Kodi and can be disabled again after the repository has been installed.

Method 1: Kodi File Manager

This is the recommended method because no separate download is required.

1. Open Kodi and select the Gear Icon.

2. Open File manager and choose Add source.

3. Select <None> and enter:

   https://vashiel.github.io/repository.adulthideout/
   

4. Name the source AdultHideout and select OK.

5. Return to Kodi's home screen and open Add-ons.

6. Select the Package Icon and choose Install from zip file.

7. Open AdultHideout and install repository.adulthideout-1.0.5.zip.

8. Choose Install from repository.

9. Open Adulthideout Video Addon Repository > Video add-ons > AdultHideout.

10. Select Install.

Method 2: Direct Repository ZIP

1. Download repository.adulthideout-1.0.5.zip.
2. In Kodi, open Add-ons and select the Package Icon.
3. Choose Install from zip file and select the downloaded ZIP.
4. Open Install from repository > Adulthideout Video Addon Repository > Video add-ons > AdultHideout.
5. Select Install.

Method 3: Fire TV or Android TV

1. Open the Downloader app.
2. Enter shortcode 9480267 or aftv.news/9480267.
3. Download repository.adulthideout-1.0.5.zip.
4. In Kodi, install the ZIP through Add-ons > Package Icon > Install from zip file.
5. Install AdultHideout from the newly added repository.

Updating AdultHideout

Kodi normally installs repository updates automatically. To check manually, open Add-ons > My add-ons > Video add-ons > AdultHideout, select Versions, and choose the newest repository version.

Restart Kodi once after a major AdultHideout update when the release notes request it.

Troubleshooting

• The repository ZIP is not visible: verify that Kodi has permission to access the selected folder.
• Install from zip file is blocked: enable Unknown sources under Kodi's add-on system settings.
• The repository cannot connect: verify the device's date, internet connection and DNS, then try again.
• An update does not appear: use Check for updates from Kodi's Add-ons browser and restart Kodi.

For reproducible add-on problems, run KVAT from AdultHideout Settings > General > AdultHideout Diagnostics > Open diagnostics and attach its report to a GitHub issue. If the companion add-on is missing, AdultHideout offers to install it first.
