Air Consolidation groups multiple air shipments for consolidated carriage. It produces a Master Air Waybill and consolidates cargo from multiple Air Bookings/Shipments.
Industry practice: Consolidators combine shipments to achieve better rates and fill ULDs.
To access: Home > Air Freight > Air Consolidation
- Air Booking or Air Shipment with House Type = Consolidation
- Air Freight Settings
- Go to Air Consolidation list, click New.
- Select Flight, Flight Date, ETD, ETA.
- Add Packages from linked Air Shipments.
- Enter Master AWB number.
- Save and Submit.
All fields from DocType Air Consolidation and nested child tables, in form order (including layout breaks). Columns: Label with technical field name in backticks, Type, and Description (from the DocType definition and standard freight/ERP semantics).
