Customer Portal

Customer Portal provides customers with self-service access to track shipments, view documents, and manage orders. CargoNext offers portal access for Transport Jobs, Warehouse Jobs, and Stock Balance.

Portal routes are configured in Portal Settings and can be enabled per customer. Customers log in with their ERPNext user account (Website User) and access their permitted documents.

1. Portal Routes

• Transport Jobs – /transport-jobs – Customers can view their Transport Jobs and track status
• Warehouse Jobs – /warehouse-jobs – Customers can view their Warehouse Jobs
• Stock Balance – /stock-balance – Customers can view their stock balance
• Warehousing Portal – /warehousing-portal – Combined warehouse portal
• Wiki & Documentation – /wiki – Link to user documentation

2. How to Enable Portal Access

1. Go to Portal Settings – Home > Settings > Portal Settings
2. Ensure the portal menu items (Transport Jobs, Warehouse Jobs, Stock Balance, etc.) are configured
3. For each Customer, ensure they have a User (Website User) linked
4. Set User Permissions or Customer permissions so the user can access their documents

3. Features

3.1 Transport Jobs Portal

Customers can view their Transport Jobs, see shipment status, milestones, and documents. They can filter by status and date.

3.2 Warehouse Jobs Portal

Customers can view their Warehouse Jobs, see operation status, and documents.

3.3 Stock Balance

Customers can view their stock balance by warehouse and item.
