Getting Started
CargoNext is a comprehensive logistics management platform built on the Frappe framework. This guide walks you through initial setup and configuration.
To access CargoNext, go to:

- ERPNext (v16+) installed and configured
- Frappe Framework (v16+)
- Company, Customer, Item masters in ERPNext
- User accounts and roles configured
- Logistics Settings – Default company, branch, cost center, naming series, portal options
- Logistics Document Type – Document types for document tracking (CI, PL, BL, AWB, etc.)
- Document List Template – Document requirements per product type
- Logistics Milestone – Milestones for job tracking
- Sea Freight Settings – Defaults, calculation, penalties, integration
- Default Details and Relationships – Shipper, Consignee, Freight Agent, Shipping Line defaults
- Container Type – 20ft, 40ft, 40ft HC, etc.
- Sea Freight Module – Route masters, freight routing (if used)

Setup and transaction DocTypes each have a dedicated wiki page with a Complete field reference section (generated from JSON). Start from Logistics Settings, module settings (e.g. Sea Freight Settings), then open the transaction or master page for the document you use.
