Scholar Compatibility

Scholar is an optional companion mod. Biblio does not require it, and every Biblio book remains readable without it.

Requirements

Use Scholar 1.2.4 or newer with the Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge build of Biblio. On multiplayer installations, keep the client and server mod sets aligned.

What Scholar adds

When Scholar is installed, Biblio can use:

• deterministic, story-themed covers,
• improved title-page styling,
• varied signature ink, and
• animated damage presentation for the lowest-condition copies.

Scholar changes presentation rather than Biblio's literary catalog, chest-selection rules, or operator settings.

Without Scholar

Biblio uses normal Minecraft written books and retains its titles, authorship, text, qualities, signed metadata, commands, and structure-loot behavior. Scholar can therefore remain optional in a modpack.
