An ancient mask cannot be crafted. It can only be found as loot in the structures.

When worn on the head, an ancient mask grants +3 armor points and +1 knockback resistance.
While worn, an ancient mask renders the player invisible to a dormant scowl. Once a scowl has woken and entered its attack state, the mask no longer conceals the player from it.
