Prompt Critical Wiki

Prompt Critical is a Minecraft 1.21.1 mod for NeoForge about an industrial complex that grows from a coal mine to a closed nuclear fuel cycle. Coal and steam, steel and power, oil and gas, chemistry and finally nuclear power, each industry feeding the next, and a control system the player designs and builds: relay cabinets, analog computers, PLCs and a SCADA on CC: Tweaked computers. Mechanics run through Create 6.

Reactor core models

Warning

Pre-alpha. The project is at milestone M0: build skeleton, CI and placeholder art. Pages marked Design stage describe planned mechanics from the design document, not features you can play. See Roadmap.

Two ladders

Progress runs on two parallel ladders. Industry eras are unlocked by materials, not research points: you cannot build the next era without the products of the previous one.

Era Name Typical reactor tier
I0 Coal and steam —
I1 Steel and power T0 graphite pile
I2 Oil and gas T1
I3 Chemistry T2a / T2b, T3
I4 Nuclear T3, T4

Automation levels grow with the plant: A0 manual → A1 relay logic → A2 analog computers → A3 PLC and safety instrumented systems → A4 DCS/SCADA on CC: Tweaked → A5 plant-level optimization. Details in Progression.

Design document

The wiki summarizes the project's game design document and technical specification, which is kept private. Section numbers such as "01 §1.8" on these pages refer to it. Names, units and numbers on the wiki follow the design document; if something here looks inconsistent, open an issue.
