Drama Studio is a free, open-source desktop video editor and AI video workstation for Windows and Linux (macOS from source). It brings story planning, AI generation, a real multi-track timeline, captions, sound and export into one project-based app.
You can edit, caption, add sound and export without any AI setup. AI generation runs through a local ComfyUI on your own computer, through cloud models with credits, or on AI websites you already use with the Drama Studio Companion browser extension.

Drama Studio has a full Help Center: press F1, or click Help at the top right. It has plain-language guides with diagrams, a What's new page, and a search that understands everyday words. To find any feature fast, press Ctrl+Shift+P and type what you want to do.
