AI Generation

Drama Studio can make images, video, music and voices in three ways. You can mix them in one project.

1. Local AI with ComfyUI (free, on your computer)

On-device generation runs through a separately installed ComfyUI on the same computer.

• Cost: free once set up.
• Needs: an NVIDIA graphics card. Image models run on modest cards; video models usually need 12–16 GB of video memory, the heaviest 24 GB+.
• Privacy: nothing leaves your computer.
• Setup: models are large downloads, and some workflows need extra ComfyUI custom nodes.

To connect: open Settings › ComfyUI Connection. If ComfyUI runs on a different port than usual, change the address there and run the connection test. Settings › ComfyUI Launcher can start and stop ComfyUI for you.

Missing a model or custom node? Use Settings › Workflow Setup, or the dependency check in Generate, to see what a workflow needs and install it.

2. Cloud AI (any PC, paid with credits)

Top commercial models (for example Kling, Seedance and GPT Image) run in the cloud through Comfy.org partner nodes.

• Works on any PC, usually fast.
• Needs a Comfy.org API key and credits. Drama Studio asks before spending credits.
• Your prompt and input images are sent to the provider.

In Generate, filter workflows by Local or Cloud. A good habit: make many cheap local drafts, then re-make only your favourite shots with a premium cloud model.

3. AI websites with Drama Studio Companion

Already pay for an AI site? Install Drama Studio Companion for Chrome or Edge from the Chrome Web Store, then use Generate › AI Sites. Drama Studio fills in your prompt and references on sites such as Google Flow, Grok, Kling, Runway, Hailuo, Luma, Pika, ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Ideogram, Leonardo and Suno. You press Generate on the site, and Send to Drama Studio brings the result back into your project.

Guided creators

Generate › Director walks you through whole productions: Short Film, Ads (business and UGC) and Music Video, from script to shot plan, keyframes, video, voices and an assembled timeline you can keep editing.

Your own workflows

Bring your own ComfyUI workflows: import an API-format workflow JSON in Generate › My Workflows, or send a graph that is open in ComfyUI back to Drama Studio with the bundled Drama Studio Bridge. You can also import shared packs (.zip or .dspack) of workflows, prompts and media; code inside a pack is never run.
