What it is for

Measures and logs Internet ping, download and upload performance at scheduled intervals.

How it works and how to configure it

Tested in Python 3+

The plug-in includes a plugin.json manifest and reports its worker, active test, latest ping, download and upload values, successful test and errors through the OSPy system health interface.

This plugin monitors and logs the speed of the Internet connection after a certain set interval. Download and upload speed are in Mbps. The response time (ping) is given in milliseconds. This extension arose as a whip on rogue Internet service providers. Many thanks: https://github.com/sivel/speedtest-cli.
