Week of Monday 28th September — After a pause the work resumes on the vote lifecycle and on the trustworthiness of the gates. Proposer renounce and departure now close negative, the mirror checker follows the build system's own roots, the simulator tracks the merged Lean model, and the claim gate judges its pins against the commit under test. The proposer-is-not-an-assent branch lands at the end.

Thursday 1st

V-5 vote lifecycle and refusals (PV)

A proposer who renounces or departs now closes the vote negative, and refusals are defined for the cases that must not proceed (#96). The simulator follows these closures and its handler coverage is derived from every pinned event vocabulary. The simulator ring grows with the member count.

Mirror checker reaches every declared root (PV)

The mirror checker imports the roots declared by Lake, with negative controls proving that import reach and setup failures are detected. A limit regarding a second executable root is recorded (#97).

Friday 2nd

Claim gate judged against HEAD (PV)

The claim gate previously resolved its pins in a way that could pass for the wrong commit. It now judges them against the commit under test, works in a shallow checkout, fails if history stays truncated, and has a control for each rule (#99). The simulator branch merges (#94).

Proposer is not an assent lands (PV)

The proposer-assent branch is integrated onto the updated master. Corpora are re-exported, fixtures follow the rule, the checker mirrors the new predicates, and the simulator treats proposing as distinct from assenting on the base channel. Merged #80.
